API
API는 Application Programming Interface(애플리케이션 프로그램 인터페이스)의 줄임말입니다. API의 맥락에서 애플리케이션이라는 단어는 고유한 기능을 가진 모든 소프트웨어를 나타냅니다. 인터페이스는 두 애플리케이션 간의 서비스 계약이라고 할 수 있습니다.
json
fetch
The Fetch API provides a JavaScript interface for accessing and manipulating parts of the protocol, such as requests and responses. It also provides a global fetch() method that provides an easy, logical way to fetch resources asynchronously across the network.
async function logMovies() {
const response = await fetch("http://example.com/movies.json");
const movies = await response.json();
console.log(movies);
}
fetch("https://example.com", {
credentials: "include",
});
async
The async function declaration creates a binding of a new async function to a given name. The await keyword is permitted within the function body, enabling asynchronous, promise-based behavior to be written in a cleaner style and avoiding the need to explicitly configure promise chains.
function resolveAfter2Seconds() {
return new Promise((resolve) => {
setTimeout(() => {
resolve('resolved');
}, 2000);
});
}
async function asyncCall() {
console.log('calling');
const result = await resolveAfter2Seconds();
console.log(result);
// Expected output: "resolved"
}
asyncCall();
async function name(param0) {
statements
}
async function name(param0, param1) {
statements
}
async function name(param0, param1, /* …, */ paramN) {
statements
}
await
The await operator is used to wait for a Promise and get its fulfillment value. It can only be used inside an async function or at the top level of a module.
function resolveAfter2Seconds(x) {
return new Promise((resolve) => {
setTimeout(() => {
resolve(x);
}, 2000);
});
}
async function f1() {
const x = await resolveAfter2Seconds(10);
console.log(x); // 10
}
f1();
async function f() {
const thenable = {
then(resolve, _reject) {
resolve("resolved!");
},
};
console.log(await thenable); // "resolved!"
}
f();
async function f() {
const thenable = {
then(resolve, reject) {
reject(new Error("rejected!"));
},
};
await thenable; // Throws Error: rejected!
}
f();
